Which chair is right for my child?


Child restraint systems are classified into groups according to the anthropometric characteristics of the child, the weight of which is the main factor.

Group 0
Child retention chair. This group includes the baby from birth to 1 year and can be used up to 10 kilos of weight.

You can use either a harness with harness attached to the seat belts of the rear seats, or a safety seat that can be placed in both the rear and the front seat.


They should always be placed in the opposite direction of travel. In the case of being located in the rear, it is advisable to do it in the central seat to minimize damages in case of lateral collision. If it is located at the front, we must make sure that the airbag is deactivated.

Group 0+
Children up to 18 months and maximum weight of 13 kg. It is a chair that is placed in the back seat in the opposite direction of travel.

Group I
Children weighing between 9 and 18 kilos, and approximately between 1 - 4 years. The seats are attached to the vehicle's seat belt or to the ISOFIX system. They are always positioned in the direction of travel.

Group II
For children from 3 to 6 years, who weigh between 15 and 25 kilos. It consists of a lifting cushion with backrest endowed with side protection for the head, it is placed in the rear in the direction of the march.

Group III
For children between 5 and 12 years, weighing between 22 and 36 kilos. It is a lifting cushion, if possible with a lateral head restraint and height adjustment, so that the vehicle's safety belt can be correctly attached to the child's collarbone.
