AXA Introduces EIAC Connectivity Advances to Mediation Representatives
The Director of Distribution and Sales of AXA, Luis Sáez de Jáuregui, and the Director of Operations and Customer Service, José María Plaza, received at the insurer's headquarters the representatives of the Working Group for the promotion of EIAC (Standard for The Information Exchange between Insurers and Brokers) to explain the progress of the connectivity project.
"Connectivity with our distributors is a fundamental axis within our AXA 2020 strategic plan in which we have invested globally more than 60 million euros since its launch, six of which are focused on connectivity," said Luis Sáez de Jáuregui, director of Distribution and Sales of AXA Spain. During the meeting, the lines of work to be developed in the coming months focused on further improving the connectivity with the corridors, which, finally, will improve efficiency and productivity. "For AXA, with 45% of our business in corridors, it is a vital priority to improve connectivity and, of course, the full development of EIAC," said Luis Sáez de Jáuregui.
From the Working Group for the EIAC momentum, joint development lines, already in the process of being implemented for the next few weeks, were included, as part of the road map recently announced by the four institutions for the coming months. Among the most immediate actions is the formation, from May to June, of different Technical Working Groups, integrated by a representation of insurers, technology, brokers and Tirea.
In 2015 AXA presented its new AXA 2020 strategic plan, at which time more than 300 projects have been launched, many of which focus on the omnicanality and connectivity of corridors.
